The past weekend, 7 members of our 12&under team as well as two swimmers of our Juniors team represented our club in two international competitions.
At the Crystal Cup in Belgrade 🇷🇸 Ainoa, Alice, Elizabeth, Lucie, Martyna, Romy and Sophie competed in the figures event, and managed to secure the 4th, 5th, 6th, 12th, 22th, 40th and 41th place. In the routines event, they participated in the Solo-Session (Romy), in the Duet-Session (Romy and Martyna; Ainoa and Lucie) as well as in the Team-Session. In the Team event, the team of young swimmers managed to secure the third place 🥉 (figure and routine performance combined)!! We congratulate all swimmers as well as their coach Yelyzaveta. 🎊
At the same time, Bianca and Julia travelled to Prague 🇨🇿 with their coach Kateryna to participate in the Christmas Prize Cup 2024. The SL swimmers participated in the Tech. Solo and the Tech. Duet event as part of a qualification series for the Games of the Small States of Europe 2025. With a total score of 126,6733 and only one Base Mark, Bianca managed to show the best result among all artistic swimmers of Luxembourg in the Tech. Solo event. Sadly, in their duet, Julia and Bianca, were penelized with 4 Base Marks, which lead them to the forelast place.
Our team is eager to improve and compete in other routine competitions in 2025.
