🏊🇱🇺 FLNS Selection: Swimming Luxembourg swimmers in Belgium! 🇧🇪🏊

This weekend, four swimmers from Swimming Luxembourg were selected as part of the national team to represent the colors of Luxembourg at a meet in Ottignies-Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium.

✨ Outstanding performances all around:
🥇 10 gold medals
🥈 10 silver medals
🥉 3 bronze medals

📈 23 personal best times

👏 Special mentions:
🌟 Charlotte Tjan qualified for the head-to-head (1 vs 1) super final and claimed a magnificent 2nd place.
🌟 Kazuki Weber and Yanis Pilagatti also reached the head-to-head super finals. Facing each other in this spectacular event, Yanis came out on top and won the final!

The European Aquatics Youth Artistic Swimming Championships 2026 have come to an end after an unforgettable week in Luxembourg.

🏅 10 events
🇱🇺 8 swimmers from Swimming Luxembourg that participated under the Luxembourgish flag

Congratulations to Team Lëtzebuerg, who demonstrated that they can compete alongside Europe’s best young artistic swimmers. The team successfully qualified for the Team Final through the COMEN Cup, while the duet, consisting oft wo SL swimmers, finished 17th out of 20 entries. An encouraging result ahead of future Games of the Small States of Europe, finishing ahead of Andorra and Malta.

Particularly noteworthy were the strong individual technical performances in the figures event:
⭐ Alice Riva – 109th of 214 athletes
⭐ Martyna Dini – 125th of 214 athletes

Acropolis Swim Open 2026

Great performance by Swimming Luxembourg at the Acropolis Swim Open 2026 with the FLNS national selection! 🇱🇺🏊‍♂️

In a highly competitive international context, this Athenian meet continues to establish itself as one of the major events on the European calendar, bringing together world-class swimmers and numerous nations every year. The 2026 edition reached yet another level with an impressive field density and many benchmark performances.

Swimming Luxembourg had 7 swimmers in this national selection, accompanied by Elite coach Mael Rugani.

Our swimmers shone throughout the weekend with:
🥇 6 A finals
🥈 3 B finals

👏 Special mention to Emma Barthel who claims a magnificent bronze medal in the 400m individual medley!

Also worth highlighting, two outstanding club records:
🔥 Philippe Weyland in the 200m butterfly in 2:03.02
🔥 Anton Fedoseev in the 400m individual medley in 4:29.23
