On Sunday, 13th of October 2024 our artistic swimming group participated in their first competition of the season, which has taken place in Seraing, Belgium.
Swimming Luxembourg was represented by three U12 and nine Youth swimmers as well as by four of our coaches who also officiated as judges. In the competition each swimmer had to individually perform 4 figures* in front of the judges.
As this competition is only the first one out of three legs, no medals were awarded. Only after the three competition legs, the best three swimmers will be awarded. All swimmers did an amazing job, especially regarding the fact that some of them had only been practicing these figures for 1,5 months. Nonetheless we want to highlight the performance of Romy, one of our U12 swimmers, who did particularly well and positioned herself in a favorable 4th place! 🙌
