On Saturday, 23th of November, the AS team took part in an artistic swimming competition which was integrated in the first leg of the Avenir series organized by FLNS. Swimming Luxembourg was represented by 24 swimmers and 11 officials.
Our Beginners group, which consists of swimmers that only started practicing artistic swimming in September 2024, did fantastic for their first ever competition. They managed to bring home not only the silver 🥈(Margaux Mertens) but also the gold medal 🥇(Agota Zilionyte).
In the U10 category our swimmers were awarded with the bronze 🥉 (Polina Tereshchenko), as well as with the gold medal 🥇 (Agota Zilionyte).
A special applause belongs to our 12 and under swimmers. Three swimmers of Swimming Luxembourg managed to secure a place on the podium. We would like to congratulate: Martyna Dini, the winner of the gold medal🥇, her teammate Romy Thill who took the second place 🥈 as well as Ainoa Lewandowski 🥉 who earned the bronze medal in this competition!
In total: our swimmers managed to secure 7 out of 9 podium places. We congratulate all swimmers on the extraordinary results of this competition!

Tomorrow the Artistic Swimming Team of SL will travel to Belgium with the U12 & Youth groups to compete at the second leg of the “Ligue de figures” 🇧🇪. We wish them great success for tomorrow 🍀
