Trophée de l’Avenir 2023

🎉Exceptional results of our Artistic Swimming Group at the Trophée de l’Avenir.🏅

On Sunday, 3rd of December, Swimming Luxembourg took part in an Artistic Swimming competition which was integrated in the first leg of the Avenir series organized by FLNS. Swimming Luxembourg was represented by 14 swimmers (8 swimmers of our Beginners group, 6 swimmers of our 12 and Under group).

Our Beginners group, which consists of swimmers that only started practicing artistic swimming in September, did fantastic for their first ever competition. There was a podium for each Year Of Birth, we had girls born 2012,2013 and 2014. In those 3 groups they managed to bring home 3 gold medals, 1 silver medal and 1 bronze medal. In the general Beginners ranking (all Year Of Birth groups combined) Hortense Berge won the gold medal and Alice Riva brought home the bronze medal.

A special applause belongs to our 12 and Under swimmers. Three swimmers of Swimming Luxembourg managed to secure a place on the podium. We would like to congratulate: Sophie Proulx Saueressig, the winner of the gold medal, her teammate Angie Becker who took the second place as well as Martyna Dini who earned the bronze medal in this competition! 🥇🥈🥉 Our girls did not only secure the entire podium of this competition in that age category but also managed to be fourth (Romy Thill) and fifth (Lucie Pauze) in line. 🎊

We congratulate all swimmers on the extraordinary results of this competition and would like to thank the FLNS for the excellent organization.
