🎉Amazing results of our Artistic Swimming Group at the Grand Prix de l’Avenir🏅

On Sunday, 24th of March 2024, our SL Synchro Team, took part in the Artistic Swimming competition which was integrated in the second leg of the Avenir series organized by FLNS.

As it was already the case in the first leg, the young team managed to score amazing results!

In the Beginners category, Swimming Luxembourg was being represented by 10 swimmers (YOB: 2016, 2013, 2012 & 2011). Within those 4 birth-year-groups, the beginners managed to bring home 3 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 2 bronze medals. In the general Beginners ranking (all Year Of Birth groups combined) Alice Riva won the gold medal and Carlie Mutterer managed to bring home the bronze medal. In addition to the medals, the ranking spots four, five and six were taken by SL Synchro swimmers as well (fourth place: Alexandra Pavelek, fifth place: Hortense Berge and sixth place: Valentina Auspitz).

A special applause belongs to our 12 and Under swimmers. Once again three swimmers of Swimming Luxembourg managed to secure a place on the podium. We would like to congratulate: Angie Becker, the winner of the gold medal, her teammate (and duet partner) Dini Martyna who took the second place as well as Ainoa Lewandowski who earned the bronze medal in this competition! 🥇🥈🥉 Our girls did not only secure the entire podium of this competition in that age category but also managed to be fourth (Romy Thill) and sixth (Lucie Pauze) in line. 🎊

We congratulate all swimmers on the amazing results of this competition and would like to thank the FLNS for the excellent organization.
