Le 23 janvier dernier, le Bureau du SL et vingt-trois des vingt-sept officiels de natation se sont rencontrés pour discuter de l’organisation de leur groupe et de leurs tâches réalisées en tant que bénévole.

La fonction d’officiel est une tâche attrayante dans notre club. Elle permet d’être très proche de la compétition ainsi que de nos athlètes.

Une officielle remarque : « Pendant mes dix ans en tant qu’officielle, je n’ai regretté à aucun moment d’avoir accepté cette tâche. Cette fonction m’a en effet permise d’être ensemble avec mes enfants au bassin lors de leurs moments les plus importants et de suivre leur évolution de manière rapprochée. Je conseille à tous les parents d’envisager de devenir officiel afin d’avoir la chance de vivre ces bonnes expériences. »

On 23 January, the SL Bureau and twenty-three swimming officials met to discuss the organization of their group and their volunteer work.

The function of official is a very interesting task in our club. It allows each volunteer to be very close to the competition and have direct access to our athletes.

One official remarks: « During my ten years as an official, I have not regretted at any time to have accepted this task. This function allowed me to be together with my children at the pool at their most important moment and especially I could follow very closely their evolution. I advise any parent to consider becoming an official and profit from the same good experiences ».
